Bob Howen

Bob Howen grew up in Illinois, joined the Air Force in 1958 and after some false starts earned a Business Degree from Florida State University, and a MBA from the University of Rochester. He retired from the AF as a Lt. Colonel in 1980.

Since then he has been involved with real estate, oil and gas and other ventures for himself and his business partner, Joe Frost. Together, they established Pro Video Productions to produce travel videos for RV enthusiasts. These videos have been recognized with five national "Telly Awards." Howen has also produced videos for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, The Rails to Trails Conservancy, Washington, D.C., Roy Maas Youth Alternatives and other commercial and non-profit organizations.

Since 1973 Howen has been lucky enough to be the Chief Statistician for the San Antonio Spurs of the NBA. It's not the kind of job you retire from or quit...especially since they keep winning championships.

Bob Howen Photography grew out of a lifelong love of travel and photography. The advent of digital photography was a major reason Howen has been able to learn and grow as a fine art photographer. From his first Nikon 990 to his current Nikon D300 and D700, Howen is amazed at the capabilities this technology has made available. Great fun!
